Weather is the classic small-talk topic in every language, and Korea has four very different seasons to talk about. In this lesson you will describe the weather, talk about your favorite season and learn -네요 to react with surprise.

📐 Grammar
-네요
"Oh, it's …!" (surprise, new discovery)
Add -네요 to a verb or adjective stem to react to something you have just noticed: "Oh, it's cold!". The stem does not change, except that a final ㄹ disappears: 멀다 → 머네요. It also works as a soft compliment: 한국어를 잘하시네요!
